Is there a fee to attend?
No, the event is free.
What devices can be used to attend the event?
Attendees can use a computer, laptop, tablet, phone (not ideal but doable) with a camera and high speed internet connectivity to connect to the Booth Central Event platform.
Do I need to download software to attend the event?
No, Booth Central's virtual events run entirely on a browser with a camera and mic. No other software is needed. Please view the following recommendations to ensure the best possible Virtual Home Expo experience.
How do I interact with the vendors during the Home Expo?
You can text or video chat with the vendors (similar to a Zoom meeting). New this year, you will have the opportunity to use your web camera to walk vendors through your home, garden, remodel project, etc. You have the ability to turn on/off your camera when you are in the chat room.
Can I still participate in the event if I don't have a camera and microphone on my device?
Yes, are still able to attend the home expo and interact with the exhibitors using the chat feature.
Do I have to give my email and who has access to it?
Yes, you will need to use your email to register for the event. Your email will only be available to the Builders Association staff to keep you up-to-date on consumer resources, events and special offers from the BACP. When you register for the event you have the option to opt in to share your email with vendors.
